A tear falls.

My mind plays tricks, and teases me.

and I begin to drown in my own tears,
this sorrow-filled sea.

Girl:
Is it a trick?

I turn away.
It must be a trick.

I never was.
More tears fall.

Boy:
A single noise awakens me.
Brings me back to reality.
That sting of pain,

for they have awoken me.
I open my eyes to see you.
I approach you, also crying,
not saying a word I take you in my arms.
It is I who do not deserve you,
but I shall treasure every moment we have together,
for that is how much I love you.

Can this be real?

My tears moisten your shirt.
This was my dream.

But now it is reality.
