Rock Bottom

I'm broken inside
And reaching for you
Tell me I'll be okay
Let me know it's true

I feel like I've failed
I've fallen unable to rise
I can't seem to get up
After so many tries

I feel like I'm alone
In this unforgiving world
I feel no one is there
To love this simple girl

I feel that I need someone
To keep my dreams from dying
Because without encouragement
I get sick of trying

Trying to rise above
The standards the world has set
But I just keep falling
Deeper and deeper I get

The deeper I fall from the top
The harder it gets for me
To rise above and break the chains
That prevent me from being free

Free from disappointment
Free from all the pain
Free from everyone's pity
So it's strength I will gain

Strength to stand on my own
Strength to be okay
Strength to finally tell myself
Tomorrow's another day

    WOAH...amazing poem, i loved the whole bit....OMG! I love how you wrote a specific word at the end of each paragraph and used it in the next, very original!
