She Looks Into His Eyes

by Amanda   Jan 22, 2007

Fitting perfectly with in the smaller picture.
Unfortunately fading with time.
She wonders what's the point.
Then looks into his eyes.

The past was not good to her and neither to him.
Yet meeting each other some would beg to differ.
The end drawing nearer, she wonders what's the point
Then looks into his eyes.

She's addicted to him.
Confused as to what drug he possesses.
Scared to see if she will die without her fix.
She looks into his eyes.

Regretting every moment that she didn't take advantage of.
Regretting every secret that was withheld.
Regretting the fact of regretting.
She looks into his eyes.

She loves the person he is becoming
For it's who she knows him to be.
She clings to his arms for refuge and safety
She looks into his eyes.

She selfish.
Never wanting to share him with anyone.
She sees how she loves him.
She closes her eyes.

She understands why, yet doesn't want to admit it.
A love so perfect, yet limited.
A lifetime of love compacted into less then enough time.
She wonders what's the point, then tears fall from her eyes.

His hand always there to wipe her tears away
He's perfect, yet doesn't know how much.
His eyes, at this point begin to cry.
Her eyes slowly ceasing in tears.

She closes her eyes and to her surprise there his are.
She knows that even if her time is unfairly taken
She will always have his eyes, his soul.
Safely tucked away in her soul.
