Awoke

I woke up in a dream today
And somehow my heart seemed to say
That this was the land
Where the damned were sent to decay

For as far as the eye could see
There were thousands of souls
Reaching and screaming for me

And amidst this ocean of commotion
There arose a darkly dressed figure
Whose pale complexion
Stirred up dreaded emotions

And his voice rang out
Without having to shout
Then it was in my head
And it coldly said

It seems you've wandered
Off the beaten path my friend
For you've reached the land without end
The realm of condemned
