Man, I am so sorry, Gem. I know exactly how you felt through the whole thing b/c of my uncle dying. I wrote a poem too called, "Dale". And it's so true that you really don't care wether you spelled something right or if the meter is off...you just want to write. Very good poem and keep expressing that. Feel better girl.

When my grandad passed away it was the worst feeling in the world. He was like a father to me and so much more.
Even now after all thease years and thease hard times and all the shit that im going thru now i still feel his hand on my sholder, its hard but angel remember the good times and please try not to shed too many tears, i know she'd want you to smile :) send me a msg if you want, im still here myself so i'll do all i can to ease the pain :)) great poem, it really Gem :))

You are one of my favorite poets in this whole website, I myself knows what your going through, my grandpa died and I never got ot meet him, my brother died before I can have a convversation with him, my cousin almost died of cancer but he didn't and a family friend from sickness, even my 2 pets died, this is a wondeful poem and your nan would probbaly be proud of you...=)to keep a smile because your nan would probbaly want that than to see your cry
