Down her sleeve the tears just pour
As she remembers the months before
The months when she was happier than she could ever be
Back when her glowing smile was all you would see

He was her world nothing else ever mattered
She learned that loving that much causes the heart to shatter
She gave everything she had to him
She opened up her heart and let her walls bend

She gave her feelings, her heart, and even her innocence
Though it all ended with tears, guilt and even an unloved kiss
Slowly his hands began to let hers go
