I was thinking of you
While lying in bed
When all of these thoughts
Just popped in my head

You opened my eyes
And you made me look
At chapters I've written
In my life's book

When I think back in time
And how much I've cried
Could I have screwed it up
Any more if I tried?

I'm thinking about
You reading my mind
And all of the things
You said that were kind

This game that we're playing
The results could be major.
You sure you want to gamble,
With our hearts as the wager?
