Apology

by XSugarSexSuicideX   Jan 23, 2007

I was all hair and makeup,
Talked of clothes and jewelry,
‘Till you brought out a picture
Of me just being me.
I’m sorry for the mistake I made,
The lies and the deception,
Thank you so much for showing me
What it means to be best friends.

*I strayed along the wrong path once, and he steered me right. Sometimes, a letter is the way to apologize. Sometimes, a talk will do the trick. But if I ever need to remind someone just how much they mean to me, or tell them just how sorry I truly am, a poem is my remedy*
