Could this Be?
Im not sure,
Have I met the guy for me?
He is there when Im happy
Hes there when Im sad
He can cool me off whenever Im mad
It seems so natural
To be held so tight
Thinking of him helps me sleep at night
Its such an amazing feeling
To have him around
What is this feeling I have found?
Im not going to say its love
For that is to strong of a word
To say just yet
How bout I call it caring?
My caring for him is strong
Will this continue longer?
I want to wait and see
I do not know if this is forever
Or even a week, or maybe a moment.
I dont think Ill ever know
But not knowing is part of the thrill
The only thing I can do is live my life one day at a time
One moment, one memory at a time.
As some one once said I live my life a quarter of a mile at a time I guess he was right.
This poem was my first ever..and it was to my boyfriend at the time..but that was 4 years ago and we are no longer together
