The Devil and the Victim

by fink   Jan 23, 2007

The faint touch ghosting over his skin
Shivers sent to the scene of the crime
The faded whispers of broken words echoing in his ears
Muted strings of dispirited promises dripping from painted black lips
The ice cold feel of calloused fingertips
Friction created by fingerless gloves
The scrape of dark nails against ink
Mirror image
The devil and the victim
