Can't Go On

Can't seem to get up
barley drag my ass outta bed,
in the mornings
hate to see the damn sun rise,
everyday
try to sleep for as long as i can
it only burns the time
until your home
try to numb the pain
im only slowly dying
the sound of you heart beating
calms my breathing
as it echos in my head
as the sound of the sirens
in the cool midnight air
slow my dreams
i can't go on
lost all of my will
because i no longer have the energy
i just can't go on anymore
