This is a great piece. Deep, emotional, and it really makes you think. This piece flows through the mind, sparking ideas and then into the heart for the final emotional appeal. I cannot honestly critique this piece, I find nothing wrong with it at all. A lot of people will be able to relate the the feelings and the concepts in this piece. It covers a lot of the hard points of love without getting too heart wrenching, angry, or over the top emotional. I loved the following lines, they really stuck out to me.

Whether we're just wondering,
Or it's something we want to feel.
I know I find myself wondering,
If love is really real.

Wow. at first glance i was thinking, i really dont wanna read something this long and then i think, o whatever, its probably really good. and i was wrong. it was amazing. i loved it. the only thing id change if the last line: you'll know WHEN it's real.

Wow I really liked this poem.. You are so right, sometimes people refuse to open up to love because they are scared of cause of past experiences, a lot of people dont look at that when they right about this topic, they ususally just stick to the typical "I love him/her, he/she is my everything. I miss him/her" but you managed to show love through many different view points. The last verse was amazing, and so very true, who cares what other people think just listen to your heart.. Thanx for sharing with us a very different take on the love poem. Very good work. 5/5
