Every Moment

by Avrii Monrielle   Jan 24, 2007

Every moment I spend with you is a second down the drain

Every time I shed a tear, it falls just like the rain

Every minute I laugh with you takes away my pain

If we spent a day apart, it just wouldn't feel the same

But if the time comes in the future

We'll be friends if that's what it takes

In the end, I don't mind

If my heart has to break

In the end, the fact you can make me smile

Drains the tears that fill oceans and lakes

Great poem. The words were so smooth and the rhythm was flawless. The best part is how well you connected with the words to give the reader voice to follow. Brilliant job.
