Looking Through The Blank Mirror

by Kirsty palmer   Jan 24, 2007

Life is full of unexpected things,
A surprising engagement
Bringing a brand new ring
But what about those which aren't so nice?
Like a car crash,
And a life taken as the price
How about the surprise of lashing out
Beating someone up
And for help they shout!

Life is normally great at first,
Receiving all the love one could want,
But is it true adults have it worse?
Life is hell right now for me
I'm hating the world
And everything I see
"love is blind"
that is true
so why seek for love to find

If life was like a mirror
Mine would be shattered to pieces
Crashed with all the terror
And demolished through pain
Loneliness has overcome me
My heart leaks like water in the rain
My head is never straight
I'm constantly going in circles
Shoulders forwards, full of weight

I hate my life I'm tired of this feeling
I just want to sleep forever
Always hurting and never healing
I want to give up, show mercy to life
Leave all my troubles
And end the pain and strife!
I want to be free of the thing they call a world
I want to forget all my responsibilities
Rip out my heart and let my head take a twirl
