Perfect

The soft, cold sand squishes between my toes as I lie in his arms. The warmth of his body shields me from the cool breeze passing by. I feel his breath on my head as he sings softly a song of the stars. I feel his chest rise and fall with every breath along with the steady beat of his heart. Off in the distance I hear cars driving past and laughter in all directions. His sweet smell mixed with his handsome cologne and the faint smell of smoke fills the air around me. Out of the corner of my eye I see specks of light dotting the dunes of sand. My mind wanders as we watch the nights sky. One by one bursts of light shoot across the sky as I make the same wish over and over. I know in this moment I am in love!
