Its been awhile

I just found a lot of poems I wrote a Long time ago. I'm going to type a few up now and see what you all think before I get to posting all of them. I found about fifty more. If I posted all of my poems on here... that'd be a lot of poems- now onto the poem.

Its been awhile...
Since I really had a smile
Since I really meant what I said
Since my heart wasn't gray like led

The time that passed
The life I only hoped wouldn't last
Got me here
Brought my tears

Some say I'm fine
But they don't have to leave my life
My life is mine
The never ending thoughts of the ending of my life

Suicide reoccurring in my head
I remember the words I said
For I am very close
To making my life shorter than most

The thoughts may never end
My wounds my never mend
Someone help me
I break down and no one will save me

Its been awhile...

One day I'll get that true smile
And then maybe it'll go on for a mile
Till then I'll just add these complaints to my pile
Of things I haven't done in a while
