Friends we are, friends we remain
What happened to us was it a game
We grew up together we were the best of friends
Knew everything about each other friends till the end
Now look at us we don't even speak
Looks like our friendship has reached its peak
Why did you leave me here to suffer in pain
You knew what was wrong with me I wasn't sane
You were the only person I could talk to
The only one I told what I had gone through
So can you tell me why you just don't care
What did I ever do to you this isn't fair
Do you even care that everynight I cry myself to sleep
Do you even notice in class i weep
I know all the mistakes I've made
But I would take them back any day
I guess if you could actually see what I wrote
There might be just a little hope
I maybe one day I'll be your friend
