Pushing

Pushing.
Pushing me away.
One day I am there.
The next I am not.
We were such good friends.
We had such good times.
But now you ignore me.
I am tossed aside.
Like a has been.
Like I meant nothing to you.
Pushing.
Always pushing me away now.
I want to know why?
Why are you doing this.
I trusted you.
I trusted you more than anything.
I was envious of your friends.
Pushing.
Pushing me away.
I want to stay close.
but I can\'t.
because you keep pushing.

~~~*This poem has a dedication! It is dedicated to my wonder, (and I can\'t believe I am saying this about her) step sister Dani. This is how she is feeling and I wrote this last night for her when I was trying to give her some comfort when the guy she likes started ignoring her this past week.
