Good-bye

by Animus   Jan 25, 2007

Thoughts intertwine with agony like grains of sand in a time turner.
If my time is up, like broken glass
reflecting moments of my past.
Why did you say good-bye to me?
Was my ring tone a poison? Though with anger subdued I can solemnly promise I will try to light your day. Although you say, "I hate you so," I'll do it anyway.

My good friend Jordan wrote this poem in 2 minutes. He said I could post this as my own but I don't want to take credit for his work.
Please tell of what you think.
Thanks

"Thoughts intertwine with agony like grains of sand in a time turner."

An excellent opening! And the rest of the poem followed suit. A really good piece of poetry!
