Broken Heart

Love will only last
until you put it in the past
and forget everything you had.
You try to push it away,
but the feelings are still there
for the guy who broke your heart
and left it to hang in thin air.
You tell yourself you hate him
and you try to move on,
but the tears keep rolling
because you loved him far too long.
