Life is just to hard

I sit and think of life
And then I think of death
Life is just too hard
Even taking every breath

I found out you were dieing
And it was so hard to ignore
I just wanted to run away
I just wanted to slam the door

I just wanted to scream
And believe it was a lie
But that is not an option
So I sit alone and cry

Now I watch you as you rest
For your body is growing weaker
They found another spot today
Now it shouldn't be much longer

We'll plan your funeral
And party just like you dreamed
But now it's happening sooner
Because it's worse then it seemed

So this is my goodbye
That I am sending you
You'll be in my heart
In everything I do.

I wrote this for my friend who has been diagnosed with cancer. They found a spot on his aeorta (a major valve that pumps blood to your heart)
