Filthy words

"Can't wait till you make age
so you can get the h*** out"
This my parents tell me every day
with a loud scream and shout.

How do you stay strong
when your parents say such a thing?
God what did I ever do wrong
for this hurt to my heart they bring?

At times I wish I'd just get up and leave
but then where would I go?
Why is this happening to me?
Please God I need to know!

The stupid things they say
Does make a big deal
I don't deserve to be treated this way
This pain I dont want to feel.
