Oath

I am going to study to be an Environmental Geo-scientist. So here's a poem about why I want to be one.

I awake to the sunlight on my bed
Filling me with a yellow glow,
Beauty is abundant here
In this valley I call my home.
I step outside onto the cool grass
Kissed by the morning's sweet dew,
Forever green and golden
This is the home where I grew.

To become the person I am today
And to pursue the career I love,
To take care of this valley and land
To clean the skies above.
For to save the world from destruction
Is one of my innermost desires,
For we could all make a difference
To save this world before time expires.
