Sometimes people lose sight of life,
They focus on struggles and focus on strife.
That horrible day is now in the past,
And then they wonder why it went by so fast.
Wish they could get through high school years,
Then after its over comes college fears.
Once college starts you cant wait to get through,
But once its over you wish you knew,
That life is something you cant rewind,
Its meaning is surely hard to find.
Its an experience to be discovered,
Over the years it will be uncovered,
But not until you grow old and see,
That life will always be a mystery.
Theres no set way to be going about,
You have to do things on your own and figure it out.
Learn from YOUR past and YOUR mistakes,
Dont take the path that someone else takes.
