Broken Promises

by KRISTA   Jan 27, 2007

Broken promises and fatal lies.
Endless tears and long goodbyes.

A world of fear, drugs, and hate.
A fantasy filled with chosen fate.

Lost friendships and shattered dreams, this fantasy is as real as it seems.

Walking down this street alone, never really finding home.

Holding onto the strength inside.
Searching for the part thats died.

This fire inside won't burn out.
This life has filled me with so much doubt.

I've fallen to my knees again, wondering where my sanitys been.

This world is filled with hurt and sorrow, so I'm gonna live for today and pray for tomorrow.
