Sunsetter

by Cooper   Jan 27, 2007

Woes and fragrant rose,
miseries unsung even from
Polyhymnia's lungs.
Infant serpent tongues,
taste bitterness between the clouds;
the sweet treats of a Goddess.
Secrets bloom, bound by a fetter,
said virgin, but thou are modest,
Tainted hands vow themselves
'sunsetter'.

Strike the bell,
chime the nigh of three,
chatoyant witches spill a spell,
and screech over bi_tch banshee.
Stars die, crusted over,
and slavery dawns the sixth leaf clover,
racist to the decimal letter.
Now with spider masks,
spewing dirty dragon fires,
Moon burnt hands seek role as 'sunsetter'.

Bantam skirts,
rather than the thighs of converts,
slither, and never wither,
Across the eyes of gazing courts.
Setting flame to justice supports,
ripping flesh from the limbs
Of mortals dipped in black,
forever roped on hateful Martyric tracks,
though never cutting the peace bringing slacks.
How would this world be better,
if one were to dominate as
'sunsetter'?

Sunsetter, sunsetter!
You are the ultimate debtor,
a rainbow mirror formed of tears,
Shadowed by Saint's three billion fears.
Sunsetter, sunsetter,
eclipse this world for the better,
forsaken dark dealing muller,
Blind us for a day,
let our ears listen, and our tongues say,
That death is only one color.

***What's this? A month later and I ACTUALLY finished this poem? Wow, that surprises even me. Well, I finally was able to write down what I wanted to say in what I feel is a good way. Hope you enjoy it as much as I (kind of) do.***
