Hope Still Exists

by Matter Of Fact   Jan 27, 2007

Moonlight be my company
As I walk beside the sea
No one here to comfort me
As I tread so silently

I wish that I could drift away
Can't live to fight another day
I've had this pain for far too long
And I know I'm too far gone

Carry me
Across the sea
As I make my own decisions

Carry me
Carefully
So I can find my heaven

Daylight be my enemy
Show my faults so publicly
My mistakes the people see
And so I run instinctively

I know that my life regressed
As I lay brain dead depressed
A quick demise I did resist
For the hope that hope exists

Carry me
Across the sea
As I make my own decisions

Carry me
Carefully
So I can find my heaven

This is how the story unfolds
No more pain from life of old
Hope carried me across the sea
Now I've found my heaven
