Abused

by Courtney   Jan 27, 2007

He walks toward her and he screams and shouts
He hasn't a clue what he's yelling about
She runs, she hides
She shivers inside
She wished this would end, sometimes wishes he had died.

He finds her again, his hand in the air
not one thought, nor a care
He swings toward her face
then back again
like a boomerang once again.

She then sinks down, her hand to her cheek
and she crys in the corner scared and weak.

He walks away
then sits on her bed
his eyes full of anger
his face hot and red,

She wonders why? What did she do?
She was a good girl today
but still left black and blue.

He stands to his feet
then walks out of her room
She waits for a while and looks up at the moon.

She comes out of her hide
and sits in front of the door
thinking he'll surely be back for more.

Now she is lonely
and bruised on her cheek
trembling in fear, as she thinks of next week.

She looks up to the sky
as she kneels on the floor
and prays to God: "PLEASE NO MORE!"
