I had a Dream.....

I had a dream,
and in that dream i saw me and you,
together,
as one it's true,

but i know it was not real,
because i am to afraid to tell you i care,
to afraid to tell you,
that i want to ruffle your hair,

to afraid to ask you out,
to afraid for you to be mine,
and i know,
that this will come back and bite be in the behind,

but i have a fear,
and getting my heart broken but i want to try with you,
and since i am an honest person,
i am admitting i don't know what to do,

my fear keeps me from love,
it keeps me from living life,
in a good way though,
it keeps me from holding a knife,

yet i want to be with you,
but my soul is full of fear,
yet in my life,
i want you here,

i try to tell you,
but the words don't come out right,
and by the time i get the courage to tell you,
you will be out of sight,

I had a dream,
and in it i saw me and you,
