Holiday Season

by kyle   Jan 28, 2007

Everyone looks forward to this time of year
A feeling in the air that the holiday is near
Snow falls to blanket the ground
Laughter and surprises are all around
A time of rejoicing with those who are close
Bringing together family that mean the most
Houses decorated in colors and lights
Family flying in on airplane flights
Sending thanks to the greatest mothers
This Christmas season unlike any other
Church brings unity and a time to pray
Kneeling for those struggling and passed away
Many get together by the warmth of the fireplace
A new aroma of recipes for everyone to taste
Kids huddle to see Santa on cable
Relatives gather to eat around the dinner table
Presents are wrapped and ready to share
A starlight sky and a breath of cold air
Another year full of memories and reason
Thanks to another unforgettable holiday season
