My favorite place to be

by Krissy barnes   Jan 28, 2007

My favorite place to be
Is tangled between the cotton waves of
Blues,
Greens,
And grays
On the bed that floats in the corner of his room-
Skin to cotton
I can get lost in dreams at any time of the day
Due to the deep sea blue
Of the single blind
That rests
Over the single window set near the bed-
This window bathes the room in the nights bliss
Even when its day;
And yes, he is there.
He is there between the cotton
Drenching me
In complete ecstasy,
Waves over our heads
He doesnt seem so tall anymore-
This bed is just the right size for two,
Our bare toes resting
Just slightly over the edge-
With my eyes closed
I can still see his long
Blonde
Locks
Falling just above his clean,
Calm eyes,
Longer now,
Per my request-
He does everything to make me happy.
I can still see his gorgeous smile
Shinning bright,
Revealing stars in the fabricated night
That has been created by that one blind,
The cute little dimple on his chine showing,
Making the shine even brighter-
This place is everything to me,
My secret hideaway-
This place
Is the only place
I can escape from all the mistakes
I have made
Because in his eyes,
Under these waves,
I am perfection-
So, yes,
I would have to say
That drowning between these cotton waves
Of blues,
Greens,
And grays
On the bed that floats in the corner of his room-
With him there-
Is definitely my
Favorite place
To be.
