You're Now Dating My "Best Friend"

I really thought you'd come back to me
Things were getting better each day
But then you ask my friend out
And my happiness floats away

I couldn't believe my ears
You asked her, she said yes
I thought there could be an us again
But now she's your girlfriend, she's best

I can't even write a good poem about it
My tears are blinding my eyes
Listening to break up songs
It seems I'm dying inside

Nothing could get worse at the moment
Watching you guys kiss in front of me
I would die if I had to witness that
It'd be too much for me to see

Every relationship that I start
Always comes to a tragic end
This one is by far the worst
Since you're now dating my "best friend"

(Definitely not my best. I wrote this when my "friend" went out with Jake. Ugh.)

    I cant believe that! all these poems u write about him u love him so much and then he goes out with ur bestfriend...not right....i dont know about u but id slap her and punch him and leave...lol well i hope u can c it through u are a loving girl

    Ok wow thats not fare at all. He is just a loser for asking her out but she saying yes and knowing it would hurt you well that isn't a good friend at all. You just got to stay strong i know you can so just keep your head held high and if you need someone one to talk to go ahead and comment me and i will give you my e-mail. This is an amazing poem.

    This is really good, you should read my poem called "A Cold 40 You can Chug", It might help you out with what you are going thru. It's about happiness. It has strong symbolism and you have to read in between the lines. Hope you work things out.
