Simple kiss

Last night I thought of a simple kiss

One that captivated my broken heart

Brought back feelings that I still miss

Yet my lips trembled as we had to part

I do not know what that kiss meant

I don't know how that kiss took form

I know it moved my heart without consent

I still wonder if this kiss will keep me warm
