A Girls Broken Heart

Once known for her beauty rather than who she was
never known for friendship only lust
she fell in love with a man so dear
that took her in his wings throughout the years
guiding her way so she didn't fall
putting her presence above all
than one day while she lay ed on her bed
he sat beside her full of tears he shed
he took her hand into his
and leaned in forward to give her a kiss
startled she awakened and looked up at his face
only to be troubled by what was taking place
his suitcases were sitting right beside the door
he told her he did not want to be with her anymore
she was confused but didn't say a word
only troubled and taken over by all the hurt
she watched as he got up and walked away
she wanted to chase him but only stayed
with tears streaming down her cheeks
she prayed that this pain wouldn't make her weak
for she had never felt so horrible inside
this man took with him her heart while she cried
