An Ode to Band Geeks

You can say we are geeks
You can laugh in our face,
But call us freaks,
You will end up in a drum case,

You can trip us while we march,
And hurt us even though we will not cry,
But lay a hand on our instruments,
And prepare because you will die,

Do not take us unserious,
Because we are as serious as a tuned scale,
Try and rip up our music,
We will come after you and will not fail,

Put it this way
You will not win you stupid fools,
Because the truth actually is,
BAND GEEKS RULE THE SCHOOLS!

    Just me again, this was the 6th that I chose, let me tell you why I chose it first...because A.) I was a band geek and B.) I wrote an Ode to a Grilled Cheese Wonder...now, the poem...Im so THRILLED that you have a sense of humor and that not everything is a sad poem. This was funny, honest and a tribute to all of the mistreated kids in school, it represents more than just a band but all kids in general. Great Job, 5/5. -me

    Haha i liked it....im in the band too...i play the flute....im from ct and there we dont really have band geeks haha...like if your in the band your cool haha...and i think band is awesome too, because when i was a freshman going into high school, i got to know soo many upperclassman from band, and now that Im a junior i have soo many friends...so thats good...actually we went to the Liberty Bowl in december and we won, and got to preform in the half time show w. Leann Ryhmes and in the pregame show which was also awesome..haha...comment back!

    Wow, well i don't really know what band geeks are like, we don't really have any in australia where i am, but if that is really what you'd do than i think i'd be a little scared. but the poem is really funny to imagine that you would do all that. lol a really good laugh.
