The kiss of mornings sweet surrender
Smells of every rose's splendor
As dew caresses our morning light
Such a beautiful and soft delight
Today I marvel upon a dream
As I watch him peaceful in his sleep
Dance we did in Heaven's wake
To a melody my heart did make
Beautiful dreamer, kiss him I must
And watch him fall to my softest touch
For hold me he will and to him I will say
Smile, my love, this beautiful day
Breathless he leaves me amid-st our sunrise
As we both whisper our gentle goodbyes
Until this evening when he kisses my lips
And breaths life back into the moments I've missed
There is so much of him, I miss in a day
Although these words I'll never say
For when evening sets upon us, gentle and dark
To home he returns, to lighten my heart.
