Sunshine

by XSugarSexSuicideX   Jan 29, 2007

Spreading warmth
Across the world,
Buds open to bloom
In the light it unfurls.
Bathing the grass
In golden hues,
Step through the glow
With puddle-jumping shoes.
The trees shine
With a flaming shade,
Take it away
And the colors fade.
Golden ball
Floating in the sky,
Turning gray to blue
Letting fluffy white clouds fly.
When the night comes,
It hides beneath the moon,
Letting the stars shine,
As the darkness now croons.
On cloudless nights,
You know, the next day,
The sun will come out
And lift spirits again.
