Hide the Pain Away Under a Bracelet

by CJ Quintanilla   Jan 30, 2007

A sharp blade does a good slice
but a dull one does it just nice
nothing beats that feeling
of actually being something

hide the pain away
under a bracelet
take away the pain
of the day we first met

hoping someone will notice
and maybe stand up
in the dark i sit frozen
waiting for someone to trust

my heart's broken
like pieces of glass
the blade has spoken
noone's in my grasp

so just sit me in a tub
let me lay myself to sleep
there's noone to love
I'm better off in a dream

i will see a life after death
and see a heartbreak after life
there will be a trend
of many saying goodbye
all with the same story
and the same advice
about a girl that took their life
