Rain to sea

The lies started out as a raindrop
and i soaked it up like a mop,
i forgave and forgot
hoping maybe the rain would stop.

the raindrops turned into a puddle,
but instead of walking through it i waited for more trouble,
i thought the sun would dry it up
but the water only became more rough.

the puddle turned into the sea
it happened quick and unexpectedly,
the water couldn't be bond,
until it consumed me and i drowned.
