Memories

by Rebecca   Apr 2, 2004

I remember just sitting on the stair steps
Talking about all our missteps
Telling stories and playing cards
Without any regards

Even something as simple as that
Makes a good memory

Telling secrets to each other
That we never told another
Playing truth or dare
Without even a care

Not a frown on any face
This is a memory we can’t replace
Laughing hysterically and giggling
Couldn’t sit still, always wiggling

Even something as simple as that
Makes a good memory

I remember all those tears
Weeping it appears
We would always strife
But we’re BFF for life

Even something as simple as that
Makes a good memory

Just talking and laughing
Even cleaning the backyard staffing
Makes a good memory
That we’ll treasure forever like emery
