Memories

by UnwrittenTragedy   Jan 30, 2007

I'm looking through the photographs,
Of the memories that we once shared,
Of the years we spent so much in love,
Of the times when you still cared.
I'm reading through the age-worn notes,
For the answer I'll never find,
From the years that I spent chasing you,
My heart so fatally blind.
I'm torn between pressing on,
Or finally letting go,
And though my heart is breaking with every step,
The tears refuse to flow.
So where are you now when I need you the most,
As I'm crying out for grace,
I've nothing left but a broken heart And memories I can never erase.
