Your Eyes

Looking in your eyes gives me a feeling of warmth like covers,
examining their nice color and lovely shade,
but there is so much more to them than the colors
they put me under a spell that is impossible to evade

With eyes so lovely, looking into them can be intense
But I still find myself fighting the urge to stare
Sometimes I'm so lost in your eyes nothing else makes any sense
I'm stuck in a dream world illuminated by yours eyes natural flare

I can even feel it when your eyes aim in my direction
then I lose focus on my original task
And when I feel your eyes looking at me I feel a touch of affection
I'm overwhelmed; these feelings are too much to grasp

When we make eye contact its like communicating
like eyes have the ability to talk and listen
This feature you have is so captivating
I guess you could say our conversations glisten

When talking through this form of communication
I never want our conversations to end
Just thinking about your eyes relieves me of frustration,
And through your eyes I can see some of your emotions within,

Sometimes I can see your glee
other times I can see your pain
one day I hope to be able to see feelings for me
Regardless of what I see my feelings for you will remain

Regardless of your mood, your appearance is pleasing
you also contain an abundance of beauty inside
Both of your types of beauty go beyond believing
I wish your eyes was a place to reside

Unfortunately, I can't stare for infinite and beyond
That's just not the way life goes
I love seeing my reflection in your eyes like a pond
Your eyes can do so much, but their full potential only God knows

Your eyes make me feel feelings of joy
and lose all feelings of aggression
they can occupy an ADHD diagnosed boy
and they turned my little interest into an unhealthy obsession!
