She's Just A Girl (Part 1)

by Avrii Monrielle   Jan 31, 2007

Displaced hair falls
In front of her face
Can't see her eyes
To know if she's crying

She's just a girl
With darkened looks
Besides her snow white skin
And blood red lips

Whispering into the phone
"I love you... are you home?"
Sitting on the bus
All alone

She kisses the receiver
Heart aching as she speaks
Smiling as she listens
Her legs growing weak

Her faded jeans and tee shirt
Center on her arms
Neck growing tense
Love giving her harm

Steps off the bus
Starts walking home
Feeling memories
As she walks alone
