So long my dear friend

We were the best of friends and nobody could come between us.
We would laugh and joke around when i would ride the bus.

I used to go to your house and you
came to mine.
Everything was going perfect everything was fine.

We had our sad and our happier days.
We had times wen we couldn't stand each other and went our different ways.

But then she came into your life and got between us.
Everything was different, and I didn't know why it just was.

We had to hide our friendship and try not to let it show.
But the longer we tried to do so the more our friendship would grow.

She told you to stop talking to me that we were messing around.
I didn't understand why she was doing this so i had to frown.

I still think about how it used
to be.
Sometimes i wish we were friends and you would talk to me.

The world has turned around and the stars are pointing at you.
I cant help it but i miss talking to you and i think you know its true.

I guess this is good bye my dear long lost friend.
It sucks that we had to lose our friendship and it had to end.
