Lonely

Why am I always there for them,
Whenever they need me the most?
Yet, when I seem to ask for them,
They never seem to be home..

Why am I always the last one,
They invite to a party,
Yet I'm the first one they call,
Whenever they feel unbalanced...

Why am I always so alone,
And feel distant and cold,
Yet they seem to get,
All the pleasure in the world..

Why do I have to over come obstacles,
Almost everywhere I go,
Yet they have it so easy,
Just too easy in the world..

Why do I feel so empty,
Whenever I'm really sad..
Yet they always have me,
Someone in whom to confide...

I just feel so lonely at times,
Cause no one is ever there,
I just need someone to be ready,
And always pick up their phone when they see it's me...

Yet loneliness is winning,
I'm losing every battle,
Because everywhere I go,
No one seems to bother...

Maybe it's me,
Or maybe, honey, it's you,
But this feeling of loneliness,
Is oh so very true!

    I know exactly what you mean!!!! if this is truly how you feel then let me know... we can be there for each other... that is if its something you'd be interested in... if you are sceptical then just check out my poems... 90 percent of them are from my heart, they're reality for me....

    Aw sweetie:( im sorry. i can totally relate to this and its terrible. im sry ur feeling so alone, if i was ur friend id always be there for you. just stay strong, you're a great person, people will see that.
