The Immortals kiss

by Nyx   Jan 31, 2007

He sees the girl walk through the rain trudging on home, and slowly blends in with the shadows of the night.

Her face pale with a rosy glow her eyes brown as the rich soil. Her hair drenched in the smell of honey. Could he resist?

The light that calls his darkness.
The warmth that obliterates his coldness.
He's seen her before and she him.
Their gazes lock, and time stands still.

Will their lips meet
or shall he give her the
immortals kiss, and lay his mark on her.
It will be but a brief memory...

The night embraces them both in its wings of serenity.
As he breathes in her scent, he is dazed with hope .

His eyes blaze silver,
like the moons radiance.
His lips tremble, as they
rasp her soft neck.

And the gift he holds as an existence to his life
will forever haunt him with her beautiful face.
