Memory

by kate f   Jan 31, 2007

You leaving was for the best.
You've helped me and you don''t even know.
Putting me through that much pain,
It's made me realize I'm stronger then you thing,
It's made me realize I don't need you in my life.
You'll stay shallow,
I'll move on with my life.
And where will you be?
The answer is nowhere.
By you being shallow,
You won't ever change.
Soon everyone will know,
Know your true self.
You'll never change,
You'll be alone.
Then you'll wish you stayed,
Wish you worked things out,
But then it'll be too late.
I'll have moved on,
And you'll just be a memory.
Someone I've forgotten,
Something I've blacked out.

Very good poem..... it shows how a person can be strong if they really look at the bright side.
