Heartbreak Irony

by RadianceInReverse   Jan 31, 2007

Love dazed and confused
with a twist of seduction, expectation
a new found romance that fails her not
praying for rejection, not exception

denying her affection, he laughs
pushing emotions to-wards the ground
she does not cry, yet rejoices
hands raised up high, with a sigh of relief

dancing joyously, she kisses the sky
floating above the night,
to watch her love, hold another girl tight
she giggles with hysterics of such misery

who would of thought,
a girl so in love
would rejoice with a rejection so harsh,
what irony is in place,
for every heartbroken crush.
