I always thought that
"you're breaking my heart"
Is just an expression

But, it doesn't seem to be
'cause you let me feel
That pain myself

It feels like a sting
But more painful
Inside your heart

It's a hurt
For which you can't find
A medical cure

I cried every time
When I felt my heart breaking
Bit by bit

A breaking heart
Isn't an expression

A breaking heart
Is a way of dying
