Walked away

by Heather   Jan 31, 2007

He walked away once again,
That same look upon his face.
He didn't say a word as he walked to the door,
and even then he stayed mute.
She watched as he reached for the door,
she almost hit her knees.
She was willing to beg,
Anything would be worth it if he stayed,
she thought staring through tear filled eyes.
He picked up his bag,
Then he turned back.
One last look he swore to himself,
with a soft curse he exited the house that use to be home.
He stumbled down the steps,
bracing himself with the rail.
He walked away one more time,
this time was the last.
